American Civil War scenarios for “Blücher”

Folks,

Its been a busy few months since you last heard from us but we just wanted to let you all know that the clubs ACW scenarios for Gettysburg & Antietam are now available over at our “buy us a coffee” page for purchase and download.

The clubs “Chamberlain” rules modification for using “Blücher” to re-fight the battles f the American Civil War are available free from the club website (here): https://oldmeldrumwargamesgroup.com/blucher-american-civil-war-scenarios/

After a short break from the epic undertaking that was the clubs D-Day “Rommel” game we will get onto the writing the clubs take on the Battle of Borodino. As with all our other scenarios, the plan will be to have this available to purchase along with the battle mat that goes with it via our site.

As a final note, we’re almost halfway to the goal of £750 raised via the site – once we hit this total we’ll chose a supporter randomly from the list of folks who have downloaded our scenarios, purchased a battle mat or just “bought us a beer” via the site. The lucky winner will receive a free 8ft x 5ft map of their choice from the list – but as the saying goes “you’ve got to be in it, to win it!”

Thanks as always to those who continue to support the club and our offerings.

Best regards,

OWG Team

  1. Thank you for the Antietam scenario. I volunteer at Antietam battlefield and look forward to trying it out. Certainly a weirdly disjointed battle but important in the path to abolition.

    1. Paul,

Thanks for getting in touch – looking forward to hear how the scenario plays out for you!

Any inaccuracies in the scenario then do please let us know – not often we get the benefit of having someone who works at a battlefield running the game.

      Best regards,

      The OWG Team
